Ask yourself the question, “when was the last time I took a hard look at how I manage my money?”
Do you know the condition of your finances? Not just whether they are good or bad. Do you know them in detail? It is time to take inventory. Today, is your assessment day.
In order to succeed in your personal finances you have to know what is happening. Therefore, I want you to list all your debt on one side of a paper and all your income on the other side. When it comes to debt include everything you owe, except the mortgage, if you own a home. Include student loans, credit cards, car payments, boat payments, cell phones you might be financing. Include department store cards, time shares, whatever you owe needs to be listed. After you have done that add it all up together.
How much do you owe? How much do you make? You can do a self assessment here
I don’t need to know but you do! You must face the man or woman in the mirror. Getting out of debt is possible. The climb maybe hard but you can do it!
A word to those that are debt free. I promise you will learn something too. Perhaps not everyday but everyday can be a reminder to stay debt free. I notice that the more I help others on their financial journey it helps me stay motivated. Help cheer for the success of others.
If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask. Until tomorrow get those self assessments done! You can do one here ➡️ Assessment / Financial Snapshot
